Englewood, CO – Robert Grieve, owner of Nylund’s Collision Center in Englewood, CO is no stranger to awards and recognition. And yet, he and his co-owner wife Carol are always surprised when one of the many charitable organizations that they support wish to publicly acknowledge them. One such acknowledgement came on Friday, April 13th when Nancy Roble Hortman and her husband Johnathan from the A.C.T.S. Resources Homeless Shelter and Food Bank dropped by Nylund’s shop. The Hortmans presented Grieve with a plaque representing their gratitude for his support of their work in the Denver metro area.

“From the first time Carol and I were introduced to these people, we wanted to support them at every opportunity”, says Grieve. “Nancy, Johnathan and the rest of the leadership at the center do incredible work to help others in need. Please join me in supporting them whenever possible,” read Grieve’s Facebook post.

A.C.T.S. Resource Center provides emergency food to over 10,000 needy people each month, providing relief to those who have suffered most during the current economic downturn. They provided overnight shelter as well as a faith-based recovery program for homeless men in the Denver area. They offer a veteran’s assistance program, an annual toy drive for children and many other services for those who need a hand-up.

The Grieves have been recognized and awarded for their support and service of several charitable organizations. Those include, but are not limited to June’s Fund, Supporting Laura Triem, Quarters for Kids, and the Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve veteran’s organization. Nylund’s Collision Center is the 2011 winner of the Denver Channel 7 A-List award for the Best Body Shop in the Denver metro area. Nylund’s services all makes and models, but specializes in high-end luxury vehicles such as Lexus, Mercedes, BMW and Audi.
